Interest of the course:

 Communicative Language teaching (CLT) was introduced in Senegal in 1991 after the training of the first group of trainee teachers were introduced to the approach in 1990. The idea was to join the main stream after researchers have grown dissatisfied with previous methods essentially based on grammar, audio-lingualism and situations.

Communicative language teaching is the approach used by Senegalese teachers of English

Target group: 

This course is designed for pre service as well as in service training of teachers holding at least a baccalaureate or an undergraduate degree.
